Sorry I’ve been away.

Mummy Bear with soon to be finished Baby Bear

Hi to all,

I must apologize for the lack of Blogs over the last couple of weeks, with the holidays and the kids being sick, and obviously my children lovingly shared their illnesses with me! So I decided to do the sensible thing and cut a few things out from the last couple of weeks so that I could recover and have alittle time to myself.

However I am back now, all better. Knitting has been slow and steady, on my Images you will see that at long last I finished Mummy Bear, and not only that but I have started Baby Bear to. Baby Bear is pictured above, and you can see the comparison in sizes with the two. Looking forward to finishing Baby Bear and moving onto Daddy Bear.

I have also started an order for a shawl, using a beautiful feather patterm (see Images). Will be quiet jealous that I have to send it away, I may even have to make one for myself, because it is quiet beautiful.

And I am half way through a order using the Right Twist technique, I will add the Image but unable to say what it is as it will be a gift for someone who may or may not look at this Blog, and I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise.

So as you can see I have been quite busy considering how my last few weeks have panned out.  Also have decided that when  I feel confident enough I will attempt one of the Vogue Designs cardigans, so I have an aim. Of course I will let you all know how I get on with that, I am sure there will be photos of myself pulling my hair out.

After Baby Bear, Shawl and the surprise gift I will be starting a very intricate lace pattern using mohair in cream (which I got for a bargain price at Spotlight in Bayswater last week). This will be for my mother-in-law for Christmas and yes she knows about it. I have a feeling that if I can do that my Vogue Design cardigan won’t be far away.

Well must go, things to knit.

See you Sunday
